Loving the Sweetheart release by Lifestyle Crafts! Here I've used two of the nesting scalloped hearts. I love these! They're kind of buried under the embellishments, but in person you can see them well. The backdrop is LC Possibilities, Nesting Frames3.

I stamped the sentiment on a lacy circle from LC Possibilities.

And embellished with one of my handmade flowers, butterfly and some tulle. The script background on the smaller heart is by My Creative Time, as is the sentiment.

Good morning everyone,

Today i am going to show a card i made using the Nesting Hearts and Nesting Lace Hearts! I can't seem to get enough of them! :D I see myself,using them over and over and over! :)

The bow looks funny...i know, i didn't realized it when i took the photo,but it's fixed now!! :D

My second one is just using the Nesting Hearts.I cut a strip of Cardstock,to cut out the hearts.After i was done,i realized the strip would make a nice mask.So i layerd it on my Kraft CS and sprayed it with Mister Huey's Calico White Mist spray!
I've also used Lifestyles High Rise Alpha!!

Happy Tuesday! Today's Scrapbuggy project features the Lifestyle Crafts Sweetheart release, baking die.

I immediately fell in love with this old-timey egg beater!! I used to have one...sometimes I really wish I had it back. It was pretty cool. These cute little hearts are also part of that die.

For my sentiment, I used the Wildflower gift set label die. I printed my sentiment on the computer.

My flower and foliage are also from the Wildflower Gift Set. That dogwood flower is so versatile.

Aren't these new donuts just adorable???? I had a blast picking out frosting and sprinkles!

I think that LC's new cake die is genius! I love the fine details-and how it turned out!~

Oh and do I love that new cupcake die!!!!! YES! The Baked Goods die is a must have!!!
I added the "love" saying from the Clip It Kit.

Here is a card I made with vintage buttons and a snap. I also used the Nesting Eyelet Heart.

I used the smallest Nesting Eyelet heart on this card-I love how sweet it is!

Hearts are classic. They are appropriate for any occasion or even a non-occasion. Because when you think about it, love is always there, never ending. I truly love "love" and all it stands for. In the words of my grandgirl, Grace, hearts are "so romantical." Ahh, to see love through the eyes of a 9 year old, huh?!

So today's project showcases more of the Sweetheart release from Lifestyle Crafts. I used two sizes from the nesting scalloped hearts set, the largest oval from the original Quickutz nesting ovals set, and the Eiffel Tower from Around the World, France.

For the sentiment I used the LC Banners and Arrows set with stamps by My Creative Time. {Please excuse the hairy leaf - I didn't notice that paper string until I viewed the close up photo. It's gone now. LOL}

A little bling to dress up the larger heart. Don't you love that paper? It looks so....French. {LOL}

...and a closer look at the Eiffel Tower. I cut three of them and glued them together before attached with foam tape.

It's Tuesday!

...and time for more of the adorable Button Bear! He is just so cute, and he looks good with everything. LOL Today he is wearing {I should say she, I suppose, with the pink hat!} the adorable winter hat and holding a little card for his, I mean, her, sweetheart. I just love the endless possibilities there are for using this cute bear.

I used the Lifestyle Crafts nesting scallop hearts from the new Sweetheart release for my card base. Cut the die so the fold of your paper is inside the cutting line of the die. Simple! You can make a card from just about any of your cookie cutter shapes cutting them in this way. {please pardon my inky nails and fingers! LOL}

Closer view of the sweet bear {color is true in this one - sorry about the lighting in the one above}I used various sizes of hearts to make bear's card and added pearl beads and a sentiment.

These flowers I made using the Lifestyle Crafts nesting circle scallops, and combined them with a leaf die and fern punch. I love how versatile the simple shapes can be. Ribbon and bling add pop!

Shake Shake Shake! :) My first shaker card! I used a clear plastic pop out piece and framed it with a nesting eyelet circle. I used the new confetti die to make cute confetti to "shake" around.

Good morning everyone,

Have you allready seen the NEW Buggy Designs release?? The adorable Cat and the sweet little Mouse that i've used for my card today.
The die comes with the mouse,a little piece of cheese, a stem,a leave and a flower.
But instead of using the flower,i made a cheese flower for my mouse! :) Looks kind of funny,but i though it'll be something different! :D And as my daughter saw it and said,oh HOW cute...a cheese flower...i thought "Ok,worked"! haha
The only think i'll change next time...use lighter cardstock for the mouse.I didn't realized how dark it came out,since i made in the evening,and i don't have the best light on my working desk.And it looked pretty cute.I mean i still like it,but a bit lighter will work better,i think!

These cute little bon bons fit perfectly in the nesting lace circle dies! Don't they look like doilies? (oh please note-I am having difficulties cropping these pictures without a flash player!)
Pefectly pink snowflakes :) I used my crackle white paint and the smallest qk snowflake.

I used the Clip It Kit for this card-so fun to play around with!

I also used the little "love" saying from the Clip It Kit. The flower is made using the WildFlower Gift Set.

I love the High Rise alpha! So easy to cut out letters on a 4 x 4 die!

Hello blogger buggies and thanks for visiting today! I love love love the Snowfall collection by BoBunny. The colors and patterns are gorgeous and it's easily one of my top favorite lines. Here I used the 6x6 paper pad for a card and added one of the pearl brads to the bow to spruce it up. I think this is one of my favorite cards to date!

Trio of Tags

Welcome to Tuesday on the Scrapbuggy blog! Today's project is a tag trio. The new year is just around the corner and many people will be attending parties and having get togethers. I thought these tags would be nice as place cards or gift cards to accompany a hostess gift or bottle of champagne - or sparkling cider if you prefer.

For this one I used the Quickutz Champagne bottle die and the Lifestyle Crafts new Countdown release clock - I used just the hands though and the inside cutout circle of the actual clock. The tag is from the Lifestyle Crafts Splendid release. Sentiment by My Creative Time.

Tag number two is also from the Lifestyle Crafts Splendid release (the two tags come in a set). The rosette is actually one of the drink markers from the Lifestyle Crafts Countdown release and the leaf is a Quickutz die. Sentiment by My Creative Time.

For the third tag I also used the cutout circle center from the Countdown clock but this time as a base for the pinecone and twig accent. The pinecone is by Tim Holtz/Sizzix. Sentiment by My Creative Time.

Today's card is a quick reminder to stop for a moment and enjoy our blessings. I think we all need a reminder now and then, don't you. ;) For my card I used the new Countdown release by Lifestyle Crafts. The tabs are actually a wine glass marker label. It's meant to be used this way {see champagne glass}....

...but you know me. I always look for other ways to use my dies that are not expected.

The clock is a 4x4 die and the drink labels are cookie cutters, a set of 3 labels and 2 rings {pictured above with the champagne}. I covered the clock hands and the stars in Glossy Accents. I inked the clock face sparsely and touched up the numbers with a Spica clear glitter pen to give it dimension and sort of a tarnished antique-y look.

The stamped sentiment is My Creative Time, This and That stamp set.

My flower is made from the Tattered Pine cone die by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. I love that it can be used for a flower as well as a pine cone. It turned out so pretty.

I used the BEAUTIFUL Lifestyle - Rosettes and High Rise Alpha Die's! I think these will become my favorite Die's now! I love how fast and easy you et to create a beautiful Rosette,and i looove the font of the Alpha!!

Colorful winter!

Happy not-Monday! ;) Today's card is a salute to the winter weather,with a colorful twist! I LOVE snowflakes. But I also love these new rosette dies from the Just For You release by Lifestyle Crafts, so I combined them with the snowflakes from last year's winter release to change them both up just a bit. And to add a little twist, I did them in colors!

My card is one 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock folded in half. For the background, I stamped snowflakes using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. For the rosettes, I cut my strips of paper then used a border punch along one side before cutting the scoring marks with the die. Be sure to put your pretty edge INSIDE the cutting line of the die or it will merely cut it off. You can make pretty rosettes using any edge punch/die or decorative scissors and come up with some really gorgeous designs. The wider your strip the larger your rosette-- you still need the 11-12 inch length. The finished rosettes on my card are 3 inches {from a 1 1/2 inch strip} and 1 1/2 inches {from a 3/4 inch strip}.

Here I used the largest snowflake with a larger sized rosette.

This one is the medium sized snowflake with a smaller rosette.

My sentiment is by My Creative Time from the Happy Mail set and the tags are a sneak peek from the new Lifestyle Crafts release, Countdown.

Yay! The "Just For You" Release! I love this Card and Easel Die! I used it to display my cupcakes at a bake sale! It is super easy to assemble and stands up perfectly! I love the new mini fonts-I used High Rise and Oh, Happy Day. High Rise is perfect for those hard to fit alpha spots!! Love it...and Oh' Happy Day is super cute!

Thank you for a lovely dinner

Happy Tuesday! :) Today I'm using another Buggy Designs die. This dining chair comes on the same die as the comfy chair. I've used it before for a dinner invitation but this time it's a thank you for dinner card.

I love that you can "upholster" the chair however you like as it's a separate little piece. The rest of the chair is one piece so it makes it very simple to use.

I used the club die tag for my sentiment and tied it to the chair just for fun using twine. The sentiment and cute little cooking pot is by My Creative Time from the Home Sewn collection. I used the trellis border die as an accent piece to pull in the color from the chair.

And for a sweet little thank you or hostess gift, put a few cookies in this adorable little bakery box from the "Just For You" release by Lifestyle Crafts!! I only just got this die today and didn't have time to coordinate the papers to the card, but you can still see how super cute it is!

I didn't have time to make "real" cookies either so I tossed in some Nilla wafers so you can get the full affect. LOL

And for an even better view of the scale, here is the box next to one of the rosettes from this same release. Adorbs!!!!

Button Bear is back!

I am so excited that Button Bear die AND his Baby Accessories will be available for purchase in the store again. If you missed out on these adorable dies, don't hesitate this time to order. Isn't Button Bear adorable in dark chocolate? I had so fun assembling him-I felt like I was playing paper dolls when I was little! Haha. Love the cupcake die, designed by Emma Lai for Buggy Designs by Scrapbuggy! Such a cute idea with endless possibilities! Today I used it for a 'cheer up' card. I think cupcakes could cheer up anyone, don't you! :) For the base, I used a lacy rectangle from the Lifestyle Crafts nesting set.

I ran the cupcake paper through the crimper so it looks more like a real cupcake. Love the texture it adds to the page. I also added foam tape so it pops for more dimension. Isn't the butterfly cute? It also comes with this die, as does the heart.

Sentiment is by My Creative Time, from the Turn That Frown Upside Down collection.

Clip It...Clip It Good!!!

Well I have to say--the first thing that came to my mind when I got the Clip it set- was "WOW! It comes in a plastic 3 ring zip it pouch!!! To fit perfectly in my All in One binder!!". Not to mention-these beautiful-versatile dies that come in the pouch! As you all know-I tend to use my "sayings" dies a lot-and now I have added to my collection!!! This set also goes perfect with those new Smash books-you can make the paper clips into stickers and add little phrases to it!

Here is the scalloped clip, love saying, butterfly, and swirls from this set.

Love that tiny little bubble-about the size of your tip of your finger! The birdie is also in this set!

Well, Emily and I are on the same wave length, apparently, as I also used the Lifestyle Crafts Gift Set for my card! This set is jam packed with tons of dies, and even includes a chipboard album and complete mini alphabet set! Best of all it's on sale right now at Scrapbuggy so if you haven't got it yet, I highly recommend you rush your butt over there and get one before they are gone. This is an awesome set and the value is phenomenal.

The bird and multi-layer flower from the set. This flower actually has three layers, one larger than the two I used for my flower.

The label is also part of the set, plus there is a larger size for matting/shadowing. I stamped my sentiment using Tim Holtz Love Struck ticket stamp in rich cocoa ink to match the brown in the paper.

A New Leaf

Happy Tuesday. :) For today's project, I used the fancy frames nesting set to make my card base. I love the bracket shape and with several sizes in the set, you can easily stack and mat them like I did here.

This large maple leaf is one of my favorite fall dies.

I also used mini maple leaves from the Lifestyle Crafts tree/leaf border die, BDR052, and for my sentiment tag, one of the nesting lacy rectangles.

Happy Tuesday, once again! For today's card, I used the umbrella from the Buggy Designs Spring Showers die. Such a simple but sweet message.

I used a cookie cutter oval from the Quickutz Windows and Labels release for the sentiment and a circle punch to show off one of the popped hearts.

then popped a few of the other hearts for more dimension.

I love play on words...even though that one is a bit out there, I thought I was funny and made myself laugh. ;) Have you seen Verve Stamps? Someone {named Gia - LOL} told me about them and I fell hard. They are really nice and I recommend them highly if you enjoy stamping at all.

Anyhoo....I used their Better With You coffee set for this card; the "java" jumbled words for a background on one side and the coffee ring stain on the other. Oh and the vapor above the cup is also a stamp from that set.

The coffee cup and saucer are a 2x2 Quickutz doublekutz die.

Today's project is this quick and simple thank you card made from scraps. I used Quickutz banner die 0910, paper scraps from other projects, and Better With You Verve stamps.

The latte cup is a stamp but you could also use the adorable Quickutz die, 0999. The die is just a tad smaller than the stamp and you wouldn't have to cut it by hand as I did here.

This card made me step out of my comfort zone! I used the new October Afternoon sprINKlers to create a speckled distressed look. I added the perfect size butterfly diecut from the Buggy Designs Build a Cupcake die set. I tacked down the sparkly ribbon with a Gluber and added pearls and a vintage gem in the middle. I also made my bow 3 dimensional down the sides of the card. Thanks for looking--and try something new!! :)

I think I might have mentioned once or twice how much I love the button bear by Buggy Designs. ;) And after the last card I made with this die, {he was cut from super cute paper with a star pattern on it} I had a brainstorm and thought, how cute would it be to use pattern paper to make him a sleeper!

Here he is, ahem, I mean, SHE is in her sweet little blanket sleeper, all ready for bed. I used Peachy Keen stamps again for the face {these are from a die/stamp set} and the teensy little buttons really make it look like pj's don't they! I used a piece of twill ribbon for the blankie she holds in her hand. The pacifier is from the Buggy Designs baby accessories die.

Butterfly and mini hearts are both from the Buggy Designs Build-a-Cupcake. Sentiment is from three different My Creative Time stamps; 'sweet' and 'baby' from All-Star Baby, and 'dreams' from Follow Your Dreams.

Nikki's cupcake looks good enough to eat doesn't it. In fact, her hubs thought so too! I love the sentiment she used and once again her embossing and hand stitching is phenomenal. Great work, Nikki. This is beautiful!

This month we are focusing on Buggy Designs dies. For my project today I used the adorable button bear. So much can be done with this little guy, I just love him!

For his face I used Peachy Keen medium bear faces (PK 135).

Brighter days ahead! Here is a little cheer me up card I made for a friend. I used the Buggy Designs April Showers. I also used the Chicken Noodle alpha qk (I tend to use it a lot!). My vintage finds this week include a key hole accent that I got at a flea market! I also found some vintage pearl accent buttons.

The pleated tape is actually natural sticky fabric tape made by Prima.

Well-it's official! I am off to ScrapFest 2011 today at the Mall of America here in Minnesota. I will try to come back with pictures of all the festivities-not to mention the world's largest scrapbook page! :)

Isn't Button Bear just the cutest!!! I used her today dressed in her Winter Accessories for my snow layout. I cut Button out of brown velvet paper and used white flocked paper for the trim on her hat and mittens. The photo is of my son and my niece during a surprize snowstorm in December 2004.

Good morning everyone! :)

For my card today,i have used to so very cute Buggy Designs Elephant Die!!
This die is adorable and i had a lot of fun putting this card together!!
I will send this card to my cousin.She is expecting her first baby in about 5 weeks.I am just excidet about this,as she is! Well,mabye not exactly,but almost!! :D
Too bad though,she lives across the ocean,and i can't be there to welcome her little precious one!!
I have also used the Lifestyle Nesting Frame 1 from the Possibilities release!!

Housework for Homework

One of TJ's homework assignments for his 8th grade family life class last year was to do some housework. The assignment was to do 3 different types of housework in 3 different rooms of the house. TJ choose to clean his bathroom, vacumn his bedroom and dust in the living room. It was the first time he had done any housework and he did a really good job.

For my layout I used the Buggy Designs Housework Die. I love the little cleaning items in this die. For the duster....I cut the bottom part from a used dryer sheet. I used 3 layers and attached the top of each layer to the handle. Looks a little like a Swifter, don't you think :):).

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a card using the adorable {I'm a little biased since I designed this one!} April Showers Buggy Designs die. I cut the front half of the card using Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames, leaving the fold/back half in tact so it's still one piece. I also used the LC nesting lacy rectangles.

My friends and I attend Scrap-A-Ganza, an annual 3 day scrapbooking event where we crop from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, taking breaks only to eat and sleep. It's lots of fun. Something new from me!

Good morning Tuesday! For today's project I wanted to do something I had not yet tried. I'm very pleased and hope you like it.

I made my first easel card! If you haven't made one yet, do it. It's really a lot easier than it looks. I watched a few vid tutes on them and then decided just to go for it, and this is what I came up with. I had made the front of the card already so the measurements on all the other projects didn't fit for what I needed. At any rate, once you do it, you'll see how simpy-pimpy it is and won't need measurements or anything like that. FUN!

This is what it looks like straight on when opened.

This is the simple piece I added to the bottom so the card will not close up when standing. Adding an extra piece to the top gives it just enough of an edge for it to catch on.

And now let's get down to the details. I used the Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames and nesting circles for my sentiments. Love combining the nesting shapes for different looks.

And of course, more handmade flowers. I don't know what it is about these, but I sure enjoy making them and using them on my projects! When you make your own, you can match them to anything!

Zippers, Stitches, and Snaps

I've been really into the vintage trimmings lately! I used vintage ribbon, RollerSkate alpha, and the new nesting eyelet die on this card. I stitched on the bottom of the card with embroidery floss.

I used old planner pages from a book my mom was going to throw out, an antique button, vintage trim, and Wildflower alpha.

I was so excited to use a vintage Barbie sewing kit on this card-I used the Barbie mini zipper! I also added vintage snaps (actually snapped them through the paper!). I used the recipe card die (ripped) as the background.

Pearls, Lace, and Roses

I went to my local antique store last week to find some goodies for scrapping! I picked up a small bunch of odds and ends crocheted pieces, strings of mini pearl beads, and antique buttons! I really consider thift and antique stores great places to find one of a kind pieces for my pages and cards. Usually it is cheaper or the same you would pay at a scrapbook store! And the pieces are already antiqued and distressed! :)

I used qk fasteners and Authentique "Uncommon" paperline. I also used a chipboard ticket that I found at a garage sale and covered it with matching paper.

I colored in the wings of this little fella with crackle "rock candy" paint.

This flower was made with 2 crocheted pieces, loose strings of pearls, and an antique button.

Another crocheted piece, string of pearl beads, and qk love letters. I used the quickie glue pen to add a little glitter to each letter.

If you look closely, I added rock candy paint on the stamp cutouts. I used an old earring for an accent piece.
